"Wild-ere Land" - Arizona
What to do if you have little time : "Wild-ere Land"
Small interesting and photogenic site at the end of the day, which does not have a name yet. So it was called "Wild-Eere Land", in honor of our friend Etienne ! This site is also called Little Wave by Philippe Schuler. Here, we find hoodoos, small "waves" with Lake Powell as a backdrop.
"Wild-ere Land"
To access the beginning of the site, you have to walk 0,5 mile. Then, free to you to mop to discover the place. There is no trail, so it is not easy to give a distance. To get an idea, we traveled about 3 miles round trip.
Access : from Glen Canyon Dam, take the US89 North. From the bridge, continue for 0.6 mile, then take the small path on the left and park (N36 ° 56 '15.6 "W111 ° 29' 39.9").
