Grand Canyon National Park - Arizona
What to do if you have little time : South Rim Walk
The Grand Canyon was carved by the Colorado River about 280 miles long and a width that varies from 3 to 18 miles. Its depth can be up to 6560 feet. It is a must of the American Southwest both for its grandeur and its beauty. It has been part of national parks since 1919.
The Grand Canyon can be explored from all angles: by the southern rim (the most touristic), by the north rim (much more wild), by the air (helicopter flight) or by a descent to the bottom of the canyon (trails).
Like all national parks, a contribution is requested at the entrance to the park. It is $ 35 per vehicle. If you have the "America the beautiful" pass, access is included.

Lodging
We have tested :
For access to Grand Canyon North Rim, we stayed at Page.
The accommodations, although abundant in Page, are however insufficient and very expensive. It becomes very difficult to find accommodation in Page. We strongly advise you to book in advance. Otherwise, you may not find accommodation or pay very expensive. We have tested :
