Bullfrog - Utah
What to do if you have little time : if you don't have enough time, don't make this detour
Bullfrog is a resort in Glen Canyon National Recreation Area on Lake Powell. As the level of the water in the lake gets lower and lower, the site is somewhat deserted even by boats.
Like all national parks, a contribution is requested at the entrance to the park. It is $30 per vehicle. If you have the "America the beautiful" pass, access is included.
30$ per vehicle
No hiking on this site, only some walks in the marinas along the lake.
Access : from US12, take Burr Trail Road in Boulder for 66,5 miles. Then turn right onto UT276 for 5 miles.
From Hanksville, on US12, take UT95 South for 26,7 miles. At the fork in the road, turn right onto UT276 for 40 miles.
