What to do if you have little time : Spirit Falls
Spirit et Trestle Falls are two pretty waterfalls relatively isolated. Even if they are not close to each other (about 16,8 miles of road), it can be interesting to combine them.

The waterfall is 0.3 mile round trip from the car park. It is very pretty, but it's better in the morning because it can be fast in the sun.
Access : from Cottage Grove and exit 174 on US5, take the Row River Road East for 18.4 miles. Turn left on Layng Creek Road about 8.9 miles until a left turn hairpin. Before concluding this bend, turn right. Parking is then 650 yards on the right.

After a short hike of 1.5 miles round trip, you arrive to this beautiful waterfall deep in a gorge.
Access : from Cottage Grove and exit 174 on US5, take the Row River Road East for 18.4 miles. Continue on Brice Creek Road which becomes the NF 22 for 8 miles.
