In this page, you will find informations and advices we can give, based on our experience

    Savuti - Botswana

Savuti is located in the center of Chobe National Park. This area offers a variety of landscapes: endless golden savannah, the Mababe Depression, a dry canal, bush, and forest.

Review of our stay in november 2026 :

    - Negative points : no large herds (probably due to the rainy season), too much bush.

    - Positive points : slightly more varied landscapes: pan (watering hole for animals), Mababe Depression (former inland lake), savannah, bush, river.

    Lodging

    We slept at :

    • Savuti - camp : located in the forest, it consists of a “dining room” tent, two tents for the four of us, and, slightly apart, tents for the staff. Our tents are equipped with two camp beds with warm duvets, a small bedside table, and a wardrobe with mosquito netting. At the rear, there is a shower and toilets dug into the ground. At the front, there are two camping chairs, a small table, and two “sinks.” A campfire is lit every evening for aperitifs.
