Chobe National Park - Botswana
Chobe National Park is located in northeastern Botswana, near the town of Kasane, and borders the Caprivi Strip in Namibia. The Chobe River separates the two countries. The park was created in 1967 and covers approximately 21,000 km². Boat trips on the Chobe River are available from Kasane.
Review of our stay in november 2026 :
- Negative points : quite a lot of bush, so it's not easy to take photos of the animals.
- Positive points : beautiful landscapes along the Chobe River, very nice boat trip with a herd of elephants. Large herd of buffaloes, lots of birds.
