    Bodie - California

What to do if you have little time : Bodie

Bodie is an old ghost mining town, abandoned 50 years ago. The buildings are very well preserved : wooden houses, hotel, saloon, coroner, mine, school, church ... we believe it really. We look through the window: the faded wallpaper peeling, old tools remained in bulk, school benches are deserted ...

Admission is $7 per adult for an almost complete tour (without a guide) of this ghost town. To visit the mine, which is only with a guide, you will pay extra.
