We went to this park by chance to spend our last afternoon in Ireland and it was a nice surprise. The medieval castle, located in Blarney, near Cork, in the south of Ireland, looks like many others but the rest of the park, including its gardens, is very beautiful.

At the top of the castle, for those who are not dizzy, do not miss the "stone of eloquence". The goal is to kiss this stone while lying on the back and the bust in the void. If you succeed, you will have the power of eloquence !

In addition to the castle, you can see the Blarney House, a Scottish mansion.

Among the gardens, the poisoned garden is worth a visit for its poisonous plants. The Garden of Druids, meanwhile, "transports" us into an imaginary world with the "druids cave", "witches stone", "wishing steps" ... Also see the garden of ferns and its waterfall .

Access : from Cork, head northwest to Blarney for 5.4 miles.
