A walk on the beach

This city on Highway 1, is one of the wettest places in Iceland. We can confirm, as the weather was execrable when we went there. A lot of wind and rain. A walk on the beach of black sand is needed, however, reinforcing the impression that we had to live in a black and white world.

We have tested :

• Hvoll - youth hostel : lost in the middle of nowhere. The hostel is spacious but rooms are too small. The dining room is also spacious, with several small kitchens.
