    Salt Creek Falls - Oregon

What to do if you have little time : Salt Creek Falls

Second largest waterfall in Oregon, about 295 feet. It is not easy to photograph from above because of protective barriers. The best views are halfway down on the trail that goes to the foot of the waterfall.

    Lodging

We did not sleep in the surroundings of Salt Creek Falls. The closest campground we have tested are :

    • Whitehorse Falls Campground : on highway 138 next to whitehorse falls. Primitive campground. 10$ a night with only dry toilets. No shower.
    • Farewell Bend Campground : on highway 62 north of Prospect. 20$ a night wtih restrooms, sink but no shower.
    • Bend Sunriver RV Campground :  huge campground, very well equipped (restrooms, showers, pool, restaurant, shoppings...). quite expansive : 37 $.
