    Slieve League is a pretty nice viewpoint on the northwestern Irish coast. The rest of the little road leading to it is pretty.

     

    Access (via Glengesh Pass) : from Donegal, take the N56 towards Inver. At Inver, head north towards Ardara, then take the N56 south and follow the R230 for 3.4 miles to Glengesh Pass. Then take the R230 road south for 5.5 miles, then continue on the L1125 for 3.5 miles. Follow the Teelin Road for 1.5 miles and turn right on the Sliabh Liag Road to the car park.

    Glengesh Pass is a pass. From here, we have a beautiful view of a valley. It is also a picnic area.

     

    Access : from Donegal, take the N56 towards Inver. At Inver, head north towards Ardara, then take the N56 south and follow the R230 for 3.4 miles to Glengesh Pass.

    We have tested :

    • Donegal : Atlantic Guesthouse : the room is very kitsch and very small with 2 small beds side by side, sink and TV; the shower and wc are on the landing. No free parking, you have to park in the street by paying.
