Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park - Utah

What to do if you have little time : make a quick walk from the parking lot near the visitors center.

Coral Pink Sand Dunes is a state park in southern Utah, on the border with Arizona. It is a desert of sand dunes. It is not well known and for good reason: its neighbors (Zion, Bryce, Glen Canyon, Grand Canyon) attract more crowds. It is however a place highly appreciated by fans of quads and buggies.

The entry is $ 6 per vehicle (in 2013).

It is best to park in the parking lot just after the visitors center. Then, walk in the dunes as long and as far as you want.

Access : from Zion, take route 89 south (Page) to the Coral Pink Sand Dunes exit (Highway 43). It is then straight to the park.
