    Roxborough State Park - Colorado

    What to do if you have little time : Fountain Valley Loop

    Roxborough State Park is a small park near Denver. Leaning rocks are stacked here as in a mille feuille.

    GPS trail to download

    This 2,2 miles loop trail is easy with no elevation change. It gives a good view of the rocks formations. A fee of 7$ (september 2014) is required at the entrance.

     

    Access : from Denver, drive south on highway 85, then turn right on Titan Parkway to the park.  28 miles one way.

     

    Willow Creek Trail

    Length and duration of the hikeLoop of 1,4 mile

    Time to spend30 minutes

    7$ per vehicle

    This 1,4 miles hike roundtrip has no interest. The path is under the trees and you can see nothing. It can be combined to Fountain Valley Loop for a walk of 3,5 miles.

     

    Access : from Denver, drive south on highway 85, then turn right on Titan Parkway to the park.  28 miles one way.
