In this page, you will find informations and advices we can give, based on our experience

    Lisbonne - Portugal

What to do if you have little time : Mosteiro do Jeronimos, Torre de Belem and taste the Pasteis de Belem !

Like Porto, we enjoyed Lisbon, especially the Monastery of Jeronimos, impressive only from the outside and the Tower of Belem.

Unlike Porto, the "attractions" are further apart from each other. It is therefore more complicated to visit Lisbon on foot. We therefore advise you to buy the Lisboa Card which gives access to all buses and trams for the day.

Do not miss the famous Pasteis de Belem, typical pastry that can be found everywhere in Portugal (under the name of Pasteis de Nata) but whose best are in Lisbon !

    Place not to miss

    Torre de Belem
    Mosteiro do Jeronimos
    Padrao dos Descobrimentos
    Ponte 25 de Abril
    Ponte Vasco da Gama
    Miradouro Santa Lucia
    Castelo Sao Jorge
    Igreja e Convento da Graca
    Cathedral
    Praca do Comerico

    Lodging

    We sleeped in :

    • Lisbon - Lisboa Camping & Bungalows : we rented a bungalow in the campsite (121 € for 2 nights). It was large with a room with a bed 2 persons, 2 beds 1 person in the "living room", bathroom and kitchen. It was quiet. A bus stop at the campsite leads directly to the city center.
