    The Ring of Kerry is located in the South West part of Ireland. There are multiple sites to see.

    Visits :

    • Rossbeigh Beach and its "carcass" boat : 0,6 mile one way from the end of the car park
    • Cahergall Stone Fort : stone fort very well preserved
    • Leacanabuaile Stone Fort : well-appointed with several rooms
    • Ballycarbery Castle : very beautiful castle ruin covered with greenery
    • Daniel O'Connell Church at Caherciveen
    • Kerry Cliffs, "The most spectacular cliffs" : 4 € per person entrance and parking. Beautiful cliffs. From here we can see Skellig Island, location of some Star Wars scenes.
    • Coomanchiste viewpoint
    • Staigue Stone Fort : € 1 per person

     

    Access : from Killarney follow the Ring of Kerry through Glenbeigh, Caherciveen, Caherdaniel. To get to Kerry Cliffs, follow the Skellig Ring. For the entire loop, count 118 miles.

    • Glenbeigh : The Sleepy Camel : hostel a bit dated with small rooms (2 separate beds in our) which includes a sink and an armchair. The bathroom and toilets are on the landing. Kitchen, dining room and living room with television available.
