Fall Creek Falls is a triple falls but it is difficult to see its first tier. From the end of the trail, you can only see the middle and the lower tier. The hike is 3,3 miles round trip. It does not present much difficulty except for a few portions that climb a little.

Access : from the city of Carson, along the Columbia River, take the Wind River Highway north for 13,5 miles, then turn right on Meadow Creek Road NF-30 for 0,8 mile. Follow NF-3062 on your right for 2 miles. Turn right on NF-057 for 0,4 mile to the parking.

    Lodging

    We have tested :

    • Cascade Locks - Koa Campground : the campground is nice with a pool, a game room and pancakes on sunday morning. Very good reception. Kabins are available (75 to 120 $ a night in june 2012). Tent sites are large enough, shady. $35 a night in june 2015. However, it is a very noisy campgound because of the railway route that passes right behind.
