In summer, the waterfalls may be dry. Spring is therefore the ideal season to visit Doubs.

Loop of 3,5 miles

Verneau waterfall : beautiful waterfall, unknown and lost in the middle of the forest.
The source of the Lison : the water comes out of the cave to form a large beautiful waterfall.
Grotte Sarrazine : access to this cave is by a path along a river.
Access : Nans sous Sainte Anne. A loop of about 3.5 miles leads to the Verneau waterfall then to the source of the Lison and finally to the Sarrazine cave.

Fairly easy hike of about 6 miles dotted with many interesting points. The first is the source of the Loue at the beginning of the hike. After 25 minutes of walking, we reach the waterfall Grand Saut. Continuing for about 1 hour, we arrive at the source of Pontet, another cave with a waterfall. Then continuing for another 10 minutes, we find the cave of counterfeiters.
Access : from Ouhans, go to the source of the Loue.

Very touristic site, with very limited interest. The waterfall can be seen directly from above, or from a viewpoint.
Access : by boat or on foot from the parking lot of Vions (1.1 mile one way). Access to the parking is from Villers le Lac taking the RD 215 towards Champagne up to the crossroads of the virgin (statuette). Turn right towards the Saut du Doubs.
