These are thousands of columns of cooled lava basalt that advance and disappear into the sea. One can also see a cliff of 90 feet high. Admission, £ 9 per person, includes parking, access to the Visitors Center, shop, toilets and movie viewing. In fact, parking further, we do not pay the entrance to access the walks of the causeway.

Tip : go watch the sunset on the Giant's Causeway. The rocks light up very lightly. There is less people.

    Hiking :

    • Red Trail, rated difficult but not, forms a 3,2 miles loop when combined with Blue Trail. It rises a little at the beginning and then we overlook the coast and we see the aisle of basalt columns that is the Giant's Causeway. The path goes to the area called Amphitheater.
    • Blue Trail (0,8 mile - moderate) runs along the sea and allows direct access to the Giant's Causeway.

Access : from Coleraine, head northeast for 11.5 miles.
